RUTHERGLEN has been named Victoria's - and Australia's - trendiest location. Using criteria such as the number of cafes, markets, vintage shops, theatres, street art and art galleries present in each location, B2C Furniture came up with the list of Victoria's trendiest and least trendy areas for 2024. Rutherglen and Richmond beat out Melbourne to be named Victoria's trendiest spots, with Rutherglen crowned not just Victoria's trendiest place but also the nation's, ranking ahead of Queensland's Gold Coast. Its large number of art galleries and markets helped secure the top position, showing it has plenty to offer art enthusiasts and those seeking to sample local produce and the region's famous wines. Behind Rutherglen and Richmond in the top five were Mount Evelyn, Wattle Glen and Melbourne. The ranking system wasn't such good news for Euroa, however, which ranked fourth on the list of least trendy locations according to B2C Furniture.
