A MAN who was found passed out in a car at Yackandandah on Monday was allegedly more than four times the legal limit.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said Yackandandah Police were alerted by concerned community members to a vehicle driving erratically and later found at a local carpark around 4:45pm.

A welfare check found the 67-year-old man passed out in his car.

He was taken to Wodonga Police Station by officers where he blew a .221 alcohol reading, resulting in the immediate suspension of his licence and his car was impounded.
