ACTING in hilarious roles has been a lot of fun for local students, with rehearsals ramped up over the school holidays for a production set for the stage next month.

The play will be the first performance to entertain crowds in three years due to a hiatus from COVID–19 impacts.

Beechworth Secondary College student Ella Pund will be among 28 cast members in the school's production of 'The Next Generation School of Rock: The Musical' where the young actor plays the comedic role of Dewey Finn.
