MORE than $22 million is set to improve mental health supports throughout the state, as wellbeing continues to deteriorate among ongoing lockdowns and restrictions.

Minister for Mental Health James Merlino announced the funding this week, after calls for increased care reached fever pitch while metropolitan Melbourne remained in lockdown and regional business re–opened with heavy restrictions.
