MARY Bould was born in the Macedon Ranges' town of Gisborne, and her family moved to Frankston when she was two years old. The retired teacher moved to Beechworth six years ago as her daughter has lived in the town for more than 20 years. Frequent visits convinced Mary that Beechworth was where she wanted to live in retirement which she says "has proved to be one of the best decisions I ever made."
