BEECHWORTH broke through for its first win since 2017, taking down Wahgunyah by seven goals on Saturday.

A span of 33 games on the end of a losing result finally came to a close as Beechworth took control of the game after quarter time against Wahgunyah to win 37-30.

The Bushrangers’ last win was against Dederang Mount Beauty in round 16 of the 2017 season, before fighting out a winless 2018 season.
