IN a letter to the Ovens and Murray Advertiser published in the November 10 edition (‘Town displays flags of all notions’), Geoffrey Palmer wrote that while he enjoyed all the flags on display around Beechworth during the historic festival, he was concerned that not one of the flags was an Australian flag.

In fact there were multiple Australian flags on display.
