ENGINE lovers with 28 veteran cars built prior to 1919 will showcase their prized metal possessions in Beechworth, Chiltern and Yackandandah over the weekend.

The 52–member group from the Veteran Car Club of Australia (Victoria) will have some rare unknown cars such as Fabrique Nationale, Minerva, Hotchkiss and Chalmers models on display too.

Beechworth car club member David Boyd said from yesterday to Sunday the group will have trips around the regions within daily runs from Beechworth.

Yesterday they chugged to Milawa Cheese Factory via Everton and Markwood returning via Tarrawingee while today the journey takes them to Tallangatta via Yackandandah, Allens Flat and Tangambalanga and returning via Wodonga.

Tomorrow the itinerary takes them to Mt Beauty via Stanley, Myrtleford and Ovens, returning through Yackandandah while on Sunday morning the group travels to Chiltern, will ...
