AROUND 40 local Landcare and community members dug in for the annual National Tree Day planting on Sunday, delayed for two weeks by COVID restrictions until eased for regional Victoria.
Carrying on a volunteer tradition of regenerating 'The Glades' near Lake Sambell's Sandy Beach, Beechworth Urban Landcare and Sustainability (BULS) group members and locals put in place 300 understory plants.
