THE purchase and installation of two portable CCTV cameras will be included in Indigo Shire Council’s next budget, in an effort to stymie the shire’s rising crime rate.

At last week’s council meeting, Crs Croucher, Gaffney, Horne, Price and Teissl voted in support of a move to purchase two cameras at a cost of no more than $5000 each, which will be deployed in consultation with Wodonga police...
