FOR two Rutherglen Visitor’s Information Centre volunteers, a celebration last Wednesday for National Volunteers Week marked a special occasion.
The town’s Lorraine Thompson and Margaret Brown received certificates and badges for two decades of service.
The awards were presented at a scrumptious afternoon tea for volunteers hosted by the centre in appreciation for their valuable work.
