EILA Thornton, a Yackandandah local, has recently been selected to take part in ‘the Alpine Walk’ hike with nine other young people.
The hike is run by two outdoor education centers, Mittagundi and Wollangarra, who each select five young people from courses across the year.
The Alpine Walk is a 150km hike which aims to help fundraise for both centres and occurs over 11 days.
