BEECHWORTH and District Community Bank (Bendigo Bank) marked a milestone with its 10th birthday in business yesterday for the shire.
The bank opened on September 9 in 2011 following close to five year hard effort by a small group of volunteers with a steering committee to get it started by raising enough capital.
