A WELL-KNOWN local playwright has been recognised in receiving one of Australia’s most prestigious writing awards.
Yackandandah’s Brendan Hogan received an 'AWGIE' award for penning a script commissioned by HotHouse Theatre for the stage show ‘All the Shining Lights’, having first been conceived by Carm Hogan.
The play had its world premiere on the border in November 2022.
